Doesn't this action seem counter-productive during a Shelter-in-Place order? Most of the people affected by this are not holiday travelers, they are full-time RVers, this is their home. Being told to pack their home and move during a time that everyone is told to remain at home just doesn't pass the common sense test.
US military bases forcing our nations veterans out during this time is a disgrace. I fully understand closing the Fam Camps for future reservations and stopping all travel, but not kicking out the veterans currently residing at the park. Allow vets to stay where they are and "Shelter-in-Place" until this situation has resolved itself.
Where exactly do they expect everyone to go? State and national parks are closing, military bases are closing, private parks if not full already will be filling quickly, leaving no where for the full-time RVers to park and hook-up.
Ok, that is my rant. Yes, I have also sent a letter to the white house and my congressmen and women addressing this concern as well.
