Hunter Army Airfield is located in Savannah, Georgia along the intra-coastal waterway and offers picnicking, camping and boat docking amenities at Lott's Island picnic area, campground and marina. Rent household equipment, grills of all sizes, a camper or choose from a variety of boats with inboard/outboard motors. Pass and permit offices sell hunting and fishing licenses at both Hunter and Fort Stewart.

These 12 locations offer excellent fishing, hiking, as well as magnificent scenic mountainside vistas and attractions like our very own Frog Falls aquatic park. This pristine recreational lodging site offers many opportunities to explore in Essex, Morris, Sussex and Union counties upon your visit to Northern New Jersey.

October 2024 - This campground is currently closed due to hurricane damage. Formerly known as Fort Gordon. A full featured recreation facility. Spread out along the shores of Thurmand Lake. Plenty of picnic and camping areas. Great fishing!

The Lake Frederick Recreation area is located on a catch and release only lake, with mountainous views just 7 miles from the United States Military Academy, and 50 miles from New York City.

Oct.1, 2024 - Currently closed due to flooding from Hurricane Debbie.   Previoulsy known as Fort Fisher Recreation Area Convenient sites for your recreational vehicle (RV) offer full utility hook ups, hard pads, cable TV, and bath house with washer and dryer. There are centrally located picnic tables and grills available. Public beach access located on both northern and southern ends of the recreation area.

Expanded facility offerings in 2023. Cottages, Guest Quarters, RV Sites, and Tent Sites now available.

New RV Park opened in September 2020. They offer full hook-ups and are centrally located right on post and minutes from hunting areas, the PX, commissary, and shoppette.

Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area (LETRA) is Fort Sill’s premier recreation destination meeting your recreation and lodging needs with close proximity to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Medicine Park, and Fort Sill. LETRA is located at the base of Mt. Scott on a 360 acre, no wake lake with year round camping availability and summer season recreation activities.
