Verizon Discount

Wasn't aware. Went to the Verizon office in Zephyrhills, FL yesterday. They gave me a form to FAX to Verizon. Told me it would be 2 billing cycles before the discount would kick in. Thanks for the info.

You got ripped off! I stopped at a small Verizon store, they did it for me immediately in their computer, and the 15% discount showed up on the next bill.

Sounds like you got someone who didn't want to work with you, since they don't get a commission on giving you a discount.

We switched to Verizon two months ago and had no problem getting our discount.

We have the verizon air card only and have AT&T phones. The verizon folks won't give the discount for only the air card. You have to have a phone with them before they will give the discount. Just thought you might like to know.

Wife called yesterday and was told it was only for active duty. Obviously she needs to get on the horn again and go up the ladder of responsibility. This should be interesting.

I think they will also give it to a Government civilian working for the Army. It is for retired military for sure.
