I feel kinda stupid. I don't need a stinking scanner. I've been digital for about 10 years now. I going to check my pictures to see what I have. After reading the instructions, it may take me a long time to post any pictures. I'm trying.

Frank - don't feel kinda stupid, least not any more stupid than me.

Some time ago, I was working for some magazines, shooting wildlife and nature photos in national parks. At the time, digital was not in the public much and we were all shooting with film and slides.

Well, the editors wanted Digital - so, I bought a scanner. And scanned, then sent my images over the web to the magazine.

So, I'd go in and the guy says, we can also put these on a disc, for storage, and you still get the 4x6 prints. $2 extra ... OK -

So, I take the package home, stick the prints and CD in an envelop in a storage drawer. And proceed to scan my photos into the PC, and send them to the editors.

Did that about ten assignments before it popped into my brain. I had a CD from the photo guy, and I never thought to pop it in the PC and already had it digital format ... I sure colored myself stupid those times, and laughed my ass off when I realized I'd scanned ten or so packs of film into the PC while the CD was sitting in the drawer ... Santa brought me a piece of coal that Xmas for being so dumb.

If this actually works this should be easily identifiable.

Be sure to "Add File" then "submit" your message. This will then upload the photo. Then you can "edit" the message to "insert" the attachment into the message.

The "fakepath" in the location of the photo shows that the file never got uploaded to the website.

I admit, it's not the easiest or cleanest method of adding a photo.

LOL...sorry Larry. I think I'll stick to linking to Photobucket...I KNOW how to do that! ;)

The only thing wrong with being retired is that you never get a day off!
