Finally qualify! Trip to Florida in March in MH

Thanks to new rules, 30% Disabled allows us to use military campgrounds! Planning a trip from Northern Neck of Va (live in Montross, Va) to wander in Florida for month of March. Suggestions of best options for campgrounds? Traveling in a 35' MH with toad. Don't care to drive more than 6 hrs/day and very willing to get off the Interstates! Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Consider Mid Bay Shores Maxwell/Gunter Recreation Area near Destin FL in the panhandle. We found it to be one of the few who will take reservations. We stayed there a number of years ago and it was a nice basic campground with a lot of vacancies.
