Retired Navy ETC newbie

Hello, just found this site and I can't wait till I get on the road! I retired in '08, started working as a govt contractor for 5 years and decided I'd had enough. In the process of selling my house and pretty much off loading all of the "stuff" I've accumulated and find a reasonable Class C that can tow my SUV. Served for 22 years and plan on visiting shipmates that live all over the country. Then I'll head further south. Traveling solo as a female, I do have a few worries about safety, but with my dog by my side, I know God will be with me!

I wouldn't sweat it about being a single women on the road. MANY of our RV friends who travel full-time are single women. There are clubs (support groups) for singles on the road. However, some of our single friends didn't stay single too long, once they were out and meeting people.
