New folks checking in

Retired "Bubble Head" and DW. Became retarded in '03 from the USN, and loving it! Inherited a '00 25' Prowler fiver last year. Had to drive to MT to pick it up. We had no issues when driving onto Mil installations with our RV. Had to make arrangements to go through the 'Truck' gate. No issues in the MidWest with carrying firearms (properly stowed apart from ammo and locked in the trailer). Just declare them when you check through. Wouldn't try that in the north east!
Just found this site. It's nice to see more MWR money being used to "reclaim" unused portions of bases. Just starting planning for next year. It's great to be able to check Open Season, facilities, rates, and stay lengths.

Psychic Sarge ... greeting from another bubblehead ... we're actually traveling in the mid-west and heading for Tinker AFB in Oklahoma today.

Just left the west after our dinghead congress kicked us out of the national parks -- we waited almost two weeeks, then decided to head east - Then the NP's opened again ...

Can't even imagine what that cost the feds to make that bonehead decision ... we notice too, that while we closed OUR national parks (and lost all the revenue), we continued to pay out foreign aid somehow from a closed government. But threatened to with-hold veteran's benefits ... Color me pissed. End of rant ...
