Red Sox Fan

I can recall once being told that the Red Sox were to be moved to the Phillipines and called "The Manilla Folders"

Any Red Sox fan in Boston or around the world could easily believe that one !!! Only thing good about tonight's game is a night off, so can't lose it.

My team, the Braves have alot in common with the Red Sox. Notwithstanding it used to be the Boston Braves eons ago. They both can murder a good team, but roll over and play dead on a bad one. You also know that either will have the ax fall at the end of the game or season.

The Braves are one of the best offensive and defensive teams around with two major problems. A bullpen that couldn't thru a ball thru a barn door and a manager that has forgotten how to play real ball.

No self respecting southerner would be a fan of either the Yankees or Mets. Boston is OK.

Oh well, maybe the Cowboys will be worth something this year.

Not sure about the Cowboys -- they seem to do it, then not -- never can tell with them nowadays... Jerry Jones should go sit in his box on Mars when the game is playing ...

New England wins with excellent coaching -- finds players that will fill a void, and then train each one beyond his perceived abilities.

While the Colts have a better than average QB, and lots of luck, besides playing a weaker schedule. Colts would play the same with or without the coach they now have...

NE beat the Chargers easily, but don't count them out -- they will bring a tough game to everyone they play.

Will take a few weeks to see how the rest will rise to the task ...

Jerry Jones should move to Mars!

We'll see if they have what it takes. They play NE and Green Bay this season.

Trouble with the Cowboys now is the head coach -- he leaves alot under that table instead of on top. Then again, Parcells is the only good coach Jones ever picked ... think about who has done that job since Landry departed... Maybe Jimmy Jones. but he didn't last long, and might not have won much more either, even if he'd stayed. Probably saw the writing on the wall -- Always enjoyed watching Dallas play (especially under Landry) until Jones bought the team -- then it seemed to become just another up and down tangle ...
