Warm Places to Go within 1K miles of OKC.

Looking for some warm, places to go for last 2 weeks Jan to 1st week in Feb.

The Mississippi and Florida Gulf coast has a number of famcamps. They're in high demand that time of year and warm weather is always a crap shoot in that area. You could have 70 degree weather or 30 degree weather. A better chance of good weather I would think than Oklahoma City.

Mission, Texas. 700 miles from OKC. I was there last year and the temps were in the upper 70's - low 80's during the day, down to 40's - 50's at night. No military CG's around, but the monthly rate averages around $350, plus electric. Wherever you decide to go, have a great trip!

add another 200 miles and you can reach SE AZ, NM areas. Again wx is crapshoot high 20's tonight in tucson, 40's tomorrow. Calling for 70/40's all next week. Have DM and Ft Huachuca (5000 ft elev) but some county places you can camp for a fee in the tucson area.
