As I've mentioned in the semi-monthly eNewsletter, I've started our 6 month winter travels. I'll try to post here where we're currently at and what our immediate plans are. Our plans are very fluid, which allows us to go where we want, when we want.

We're currently at the Tiffin RV Service Center (Space 41) in Red Bay, AL. We'll probably be here for at least a few weeks for service.

Next destination - we're heading to the Atlanta GA area.

Maybe we'll see you on the road!

We must have just missed you in Vegas - saw a post where you stayed at Desert Eagle, is that right?

We'd been there for almost two weeks, waiting for NPs to re-open after getting kicked of of Lassen - we finally left and came home ... planning another trip west to pick up Death Valley and Sequoia - which we missed when the 'babies' in DC had their spat.

Sorry - we haven't been to Desert Eagle in a few years. We left our summer jobs on October 18th, stopped at Edwards AFB for a couple nights, then went to Mesa Arizona for a couple weeks. We get our annual medical done in Arizona. Left Arizona on November 4th and stopped at Kirtland AFB, Altus AFB, Tinker AFB, and Fort Chaffee along the way (as well as a few non-military stops). We arrived in Red Bay, AL on November 13th.

When we leave here in a few weeks, I don't know our exact dates, stops, or route. But we're heading to Georgia and South Carolina. Then to Florida (including Sigsbee for a couple weeks), then taking the southern coastal route back to California. The only deadline we now have is to be back in California for summer jobs by mid April.

Saw one post, don't remember when, but maybe it was Kirkland or Tinker as we hit both of those last month on the way back to JAX ... I just remember we missed you not by much if I read it right.

Don't miss Kings Bay on your way south, or NAS or Mayport and if you come thru Jacksonville, stop and visit - we'll be here until Feb ... or so.

Oh well, looks like we're gonna miss you this time too Larry! There's a few of us who have been spending the last month at Pointes West Army Resort in Appling, GA, but the last of us are heading home for the holidays at the end of this week. :(

Rich Wells and I are heading for South Texas around the 15th of January. When will you be starting to head back west? We plan on stopping at Uchee Creek in GA, Aviation Arbor in New Orleans, Ft Sam Houston and Shields NAS in Corpus Christi on the way down to Mission, Texas. Need to stay away from the cold!!!

Maybe we can hook up somewhere along the way. You and Connie have a safe trip!!
