Long term campgrounds in Colorado Springs

My son is deploying soon from Ft Carson and we want to go and help out his family living in in the north side of the Springs. The AFA has a 30 day max stay and we plan on being there for 90-120 days. Any recommendations for campgrounds in the northern area?

There is a campground in Monument on the west side, not as nice as the AFA but doable.

30 days at the AFA then go away for a day or two then back to AFA etc.

I do not remember if they have an overflow area or not. Moving from FHU to overflow then back also works at some famcamps.
