Spent a week here in late June, 2007. The weekly rate is their best as you get to stay for 7 nights for the daily price of 6. We made our reservations about the same time as a HitchHiker RV club from Texas made theirs and got stuck right in the middle of them. There were 45 of them staging up for their trip up into Canada. As you can see in the picture the FHU pull-thru site we were in is large enough for any rig. This is a large park with lots of seasonal sites that are nicely shaded. We were in the short term section. Very easy to get a dish signal. This CG is about 10 miles from the Acadia National Park main entrance and 12 miles to Bar Harbor. You can get closer by going to the KOA but it is much more expensive. This park is in Trenton, ME just over the Ellsworth, ME city line. There is a Wal-Mart just 2 miles away and loads of tourist attractions and restaurants. Management is very friendly and helpful.
