Review Detail

This is a lovely place: clean, very spacious, quiet, wooded, with a beautiful lake. Our only complaint was that even after the relatively high (for a military camp) fee ($22), you have to PAY to swim at the fenced beach! At $3.50 per person per day, it wasn't worth it. We think it ought to be free. It's supposed to be open till 6, but the day we arrived, they were closing and locking up at 4:30! Aside from that, our only word of caution is that the road up to the campground is VERY STEEP and has a hairpin turn. We almost didn't make it up with our Trailblazer and 26-foot travel trailer.
