I was traveling east on Hwy 20 and just followed the signs to Barksdale which got us off on exit 23. The commercial gate is not even a mile from the exit. Just wanted to add a comment. There is a comment by 2chiefsrus on May 4, 2021 about the inspection trench that I wish I would have read before I went through the commercial gate. I too have a coach with a toad and there is an obvious difference...

Just wanted to update that the monthly rate is now a whopping $435.00...The day and weekly rate went up as well but not sure what they are. Seriously, this is a nice clean camp at a great rate. Has spacious sites, good water pressure, no issues with sewer, good electric, free cable, decent wifi and good cell service.

Just FYI, the bathrooms and laundry if you need them are inop. Looks like they are working on them but don’t think they will be back in service anytime soon, I was watching the guy who looks like he is responsible for park maintenance, and by the looks of him, he’s not moving fast for anything. Have no complaints about anything else. There’s nothing at the park to do, but it’s a great base camp for visiting Charleston. Sites were...
