Sea Mist is still a great bargain. Used one of the Rustic Cabins (#25/night) as base for some shopping in VA Beach. Neat, compact, clean,and peaceful #1 was stepped from the bathroom and laundry. Registered by phone, arrived after office closed for day and found (as informed) easily upon arrival. Noticed several RV sites open. Kind of wished I had driven the RV but since this was a spur of the moment trip I didn't want...

I've used all the facilities of this campground over the years and have nothing but high praise for them. The cottages have always been neat and clean with comfortable "BIG" beds. The RV sites are clean, spacious and near the bathhouse. The tent sites (neat and well maintained) are near the beach, bathhouse, snack bar (open summer season only) and boat ramp. The staff has gone out of the way to make my stays worry free....
