We are planning on stopping at Gowen Field in Boise, after looking at the review for this CG it is almost non existant. Has anyone been there that could provide a bit more info other than "its OK". We will do a more detailed review if we stop there in a few weeks.

'It's OK'.. is about right. I haven't been there for several years, but it had just been recently been rebuilt, at that time.. basically built for Truck-campers. You couldn't get anything larger than about 25-foot, in the site (all-cement parking space). If you had a trailer, you had to park the pickup in the street. As I remember, there were only about 4-sites. Obviously the Engineer was NOT an RV'er!
We were at Gowen Field last November. Small and clean. We have a 40' motor home and fit into the site, but barely. Not much else there, but a good place for a couple days.
We stayed here Jul 2011. I think there was 8 rv spots, nice cement pads, full hook ups (not pull thrus). A small national guard base next to the main air port, free laundry, a bit of a walk to the shower & rest room facilities located in the gym, a small bx, check in at the bearthing office, no camp host. Well worth the $10 a night fee. Some jet noise but not to bad. We will definately stay here again when in this area.
