A fire at the Gull Cottage at Prospect Harbor in Maine has closed this scenic recreation lodging. On June 27,2022 while there were 4 guests staying at the cottage (lighthouse house), a fire started in the ventilation system. The family got out safely. There's no idea when (if) this recreation lodging will re-open.
