Great Lakes RV camp

I'm planning a trip to the Chicago area and see that Great Lakes has RV parking.

Does anyone know how far it is to walk from the RV park to the train station?
Is there any on base transportation?

Any update on vehicle stickers at Navy Bases? Specifically Great Lakes.

It is quite a hike. (According to my google maps, it is just under 2 miles to the Metra station from the campground.)

When we were there - we drove our truck to the station, which is just across the street from the base, but the base is very big. Not sure if the have a base bus that can get you there.
