This campground has about 20 camping sites for campers and several other primitive spots right on the lake. The last time the wife and I drove through it they had improved the motorhome or camper sites by laying rock and leveling out the sites they still don't have electricity or water at the sites that I could see . There is a active marina with docks slips and fuel and a couple little buildings. There is a play ground for the kids on the opposite side of the docks. There boat ramp was extended a year or so ago to make it easier to load boats when the lake is down. They also have a boat rental for folks that don't own there own boat. It is easy to get to by going north on I-77 from Interstate 70. Then turn left on Hwy 82 (west) follow the signs till you see Military Marina about 2.5 miles from Hwy 77( if you cross the causeway over the lake you have gone to far)The boat ramp is well known to the locals And fishing on the lake is good for cat fish, both Blue, Channel. Flathead, Walleye, both largemouth and smallmouth bass, Wipers, White Bass, Crappie, Carp, Buffalo Drum, Gar, Shad and minnows. And there is probably a few Tournament's that are held on the lake during the summer and fall seasons. The town of Wakefield is about 5 miles away west and Junction City is about 25 miles away to the South. It is very Quiet at the campground because no one ever uses it. Not sure the cost I will up date you later.
