Am I eligible?

I was in the nave for 7 1/2 years. My service was cut short. I was medically discharged at 30% disability. Technically, I am medically retired and a DAV. Am I able to go to these campgrounds? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Eligibility for use of Famcamps due to disability is possible. However, your service disability must be 100%.

Read this ARTICLE for full details and copies of the applicable regulations on who is authorized to utilize MWR facilities.

100% DAV is authorized.

You say you are "technically retired." Unless you are drawing a disability pension from the Navy in addition to a VA pension, you are not considered to be military retired.

You said that you are "medically retired and a DAV", does that mean you are TDRL (Temporary Disability Retirement List"? If you are, then you should have a military retired ID card, if not, then no, you are not eligible.
