I was notified of the below available host position. Let them know you read about it here.

TX-Come Volunteer Host on the Gulf of Mexico in Corpus Christi

If you like to fish, this is the place to be. You will be located a short walk from the Gulf and our fishing pier that is open all night for your use. There are great restaurants and much to do and explore in the local area. Minimum stay is 90 days but can be longer.
Work seven days, get the following seven days off.

As a host you will have a FHU site and be required to be on call 24 hours per day during your seven days. During that week you will do 25 duty hours weekly per couple or single. Duties include greeting visitors, assisting guests to their sites, answering questions about the campground, base and local area, as well as general janitorial & cleaning of offices, restrooms, showers, club house and laundry rooms.

On occasions you will assist with special social events held at the park.

We are looking for workers for the fall and winter season. This is an excellent opportunity to have the best of both worlds: first, the beautiful surroundings of the Gulf of Mexico, and second, the opportunity to interact with our wonderful guests.

If you are interested, please send a resume to [email protected]

 Maybe you should either hire more workcampers or get better ones. I have never been so ashamed of a military fam camp as I'm of this one. Priced way beyond what it is worth.Filthy bathrooms, the cable is gone, wifi is not worth being hooked up and the laundry room is unusable. This park is maybe okay for a day or 2 but any longer is a waste of money. I think it should be closed down. Me? unhappy?? YOU BET!!

Mr. Riley, Did you report your findings to management?

They are very concientious and have been commended for the way the facilities are maintained in the last twelve months. Possibly you are refering to the facilities that are open for the use of the general public and users of the fishing pier.

Those facilities are abused during the late night hours and cleaned in the morning when the staff comes on duty.
