Opportunities are available to be selected for Camp Host duties beginning April 2017 through September 2017 at Jim Creek Community Recreation Area on Naval Radio Station Jim Creek in Arlington, WA. While providing your services, you will be compensated with a pre-paid 50 amp RV site with full hookups, free laundry facility usage, and the opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful areas around! Jim Creek offers tent sites, cabins, group campgrounds, RV sites, rustic lodge, fishing lake and boat dock, challenge course, hiking trails, as well as acres of pristine wilderness and an abundance of fresh air. Hosts complete basic administrative and maintenance tasks in the RV, camping, and cabin areas while performing duties on a 3 days on, 3 days off schedule. After business hours, hosts check in guests, patrol the area, answer patron questions, and serve as a liaison between guests and MWR when staff are not present. Hosts also assist during special events in areas such as family games and activities, crafts, and event set-up/breakdown. Perspective hosts with valid DoD Retiree ID cards, basic maintenance and landscaping work abilities, teachable skills and hobbies, and experience working with various demographics are preferred.
