Hi there, Alan and I are camp host at the moment at joint base Charleston AFB. We love the job! When a RV pulls in we are there to greet them, show them to their site, take the money and give them a packet of brochures that we put together for them. Each morning we take the days money to the office and run the credit slips. We ride through the camping area several times a day, talking to our fellow campers and making sure they have everything they need to have a great visit. We clean the bath house and the laundry rooms each day. Alan created a spread sheet for the famcamp that shows when a RV arrives, how long they are paid through, if they want long term, their phone number and names of the campers. Christie has worked at the office, running credit card slips for the camp ground and storage lots, answering the phone and giving out local area information. Alan and I plan camp functions such as Thanksgiving, and Easter dinners.
A little about Christie. I love all types of arts and crafts. I have exhibited, as well as taught classes and did demonstrations. I have worked in a lot of creative fields. Florist, Gourmet gift baskets, and photography. I have also worked in offices and worked as a book keeper.
A little about Alan. Alan was career military retiring from the Navy. He is good at anything he tries. He can build a car from the ground up, and then paint it. He is good with people, and animals. He is an amazing photographer, and a better husband.
Alan and I love to travel. We love seeing new places, meeting new people and learning and experiencing the flavor or an area. We are both computer savie and travel with our computer, pads and phones. We have a 36' Fleetwood Terra, with two sildes.
