Has anyone driven the outer banks with truck and travel trailer (59' total)? We're currently at Dam Neck Training Center at Virginia Beach and wondering whether to drive down Outer Banks or drive highways down to Cape Hatteras and tour with just the truck.
haven't with a trailer, but did use a class C with toad, crossed over on the ferry and went the whole lenght of the outer banks. Also, stayed at the air force campground ground there. Don't think you will have any problem with the trailer.
