For those of us who struggle to get a 5th wheel hitch out of the bed of your truck when you need the space for hauling stuff, here's a suggestion that won't result in killing your back. Harbor Freight tools currently has their 1 ton shop crane/engine hoist on sale for $99 (normally $200+). It's on sturdy castors, so just roll it to the bed of your truck, remove the pins on your hitch, lift away and roll it out of the way. When not in use, the hoist folds to a pretty small footprint for garage or shed storage. I just bought one of these and couldn't be more pleased. No more strained back or having to go look for help. Don't know how long the sale lasts, but would assume a few more weeks.
