While wintering in Yuma, AZ this past winter we noticed that the VFW out on US-95 was almost full every time we passed there. I know there are time restrictions for staying on Federal lands in the area and was told that lots of the folks at the VFW dry camp were just there waiting to reenter a Federal campground area. I’ll bet larryf knows all the rules about this kind of camping as he was out there a lot this past winter.
