I love, love, love this site and have used it for years planning our trips. I got back on today and finding I can't do ANYTHING on site without ads popping up and blocking the content. I close them and another pops up. What has happened??
The website has remained free to use for over 17 years, mainly because the ads are paying for the expenses.
I recently have started to use a service for displaying the advertisements. I'm currently still "tweaking" the ads to provide the best user experience, while maintaining the revenue. It takes a while for the system to figure out the best quantity and placement of the ads.
Bear with me, as I'll soon have the "right" fit of ads, without being too annoying.
