With our used 2014 Bounder, lots of prewiring was done, but former owner took all receivers, etc, and wiring manuals as to what was wired where. Other than taking it into RV shop to have it figured out, any thoughts? We have one of the 3 tvs working, Sonys, in living room with the Dish receiver we just got. is it always necessary to have a receiver for each tv? We are coming at this from a cable background.........

Thanks,

We have Dish at our site built home and take receivers VIP211K with us for the RV. Yes you do need a receiver for the front TV and one for your bedroom TV. The basement TV is wired to the front TV so you use the front receiver if you want to watch TV while outside. You will bring in 110 or 119 off your main receiver in the front and will watch channels on the same satelitte on your bedroom TV but you can watch a different channel on your bedroom TV. We have an 06 Tiffin Zephyr with an in motion roof mounted dome so your RV being much newer it could be different but try our setup and see what you get. We travel quite a lot and wanted to have the option to watch a different satelitte on our bedroom TV from the front TV so we purchased a Winegard Pathway II that is HD and it was developed only for DISH. It is a portable satelitte we set up outside and hubby and I can each watch whatever channel we want. Have you met anyone yet that has a Bounder similar to yours? Most RV'ers are willing to help with troubleshooting so good luck at getting this all set up.
