Another Military Discount

We bought a filter for our Hydro-Hot at The Better RVing Store at Lazydays in Seffner, Fl. and as usual Lambert asks if they give a military discount, surprisingly they said yes and it was 10% so if you shop there remember to ask. Now if only we could get them to give us a military discount of 10% off an RV, bet you are all laughing at that one!

I think ALL RV dealers will give a 10% military discount off an RV. - 10% off the MSRP that is. :)

I remember when we bought our first new RV at Lazydays and we had to walk away when they offered 10% off the MSRP as other old timer RV'rs said we should get at least 20% off MSRP. That was our 03' Phaeton and we finally did come to a price we could live with, if memory serves it was slightly over the 20% and they made us feel like they were not making much profit on it. I want 10% military discount on top of the 20% off everyone should get, maybe when pigs fly!

We bought our 2010 Phaeton from LazyDays in January 2010. I had emailed about 10 different dealers in advance asking for their "best deal" on a new Phaeton ordered as we wanted it. LazyDays was in the middle of the pack on pricing. But we ended up buying from them since I originally had problems with financing. LazyDays worked for us to get financing at a good rate (6% in 2010). Our deal on the Phaeton got us about 26% off the MSRP.

BTW - the best deal we were offered when I emailed for quotes was 29% off MSRP. Funny, the worst deal I was offered was 9% ABOVE MSRP (La Mesa RV in Arizona).
