I made a purchase at the Academy Sports in Amarillo, TX on July 29, 2022. When I was checking out, I asked the clerk for the military discount. The young clerk very apologetically told me Academy Sports no longer offered the military/veterans discount. He didn't agree with the company stopping the discount because his older brother is a veteran. The young man did thank me for my service. In the future I'll take my business somewhere besides Academy Sports.
