Point Mugu near Ventura

This is our second week of our fourth stay in three years. It's our favorite right after Fiddler's Cove, on Coronado in San Diego.

Primary feature is the marvelous, private, quite and scenic beach with a daily spectrum of Terns, Pelicans, Sea Lions, and Dolphins. Quiet even when full and well run (unlike several others, laisse faire by two on-site RVer managers).

This time around, no jet engine run ups at the test stand next door. Hot in the desert where we live, cool here in the July coastal haze. MH's with front views have a number of view sites, fivers have four out the back and typical starboard window. Site's can't be reserved by number; it's luck of the draw when you show up.

Reservation is without deposit. That is GOOD. Means you can get on a wait list (tends to be full in summer) or even just show up since there are a fair number of no-shows who don't call ahead.

Feel free to contact me for those site numbers or for non-squids to find out which side is opposite of port, which is not a wine.

Gary,
Seems we've been at Point Mugu on 2 of your visits. Hard to miss your Blue Angel Freightliner!
:D WE'll introduce ourselves next time around.
Anne
