The famcamp at Beale is having some difficulties. Ten sites are unavailable due to a water problem. Some sites don't have cable. John the manager is doing a great job with no support from the base. Retirees can no longer use the dining hall, as of 1 April 08. This is still a great famcamp for solitude, but if more sites are taken out of the pool it could be difficult in the future to get a site.
