We stayed at White Sands in March 2021. Got there on a Thurs afternoon, gate guard let us in and we parked our rig. On Friday we went exploring, got back to the base, and they wouldn't let my wife on because she didn't have an ID. A new policy due to Covid. Managed to get them to let us on, couldn't do anything untill Monday, where I asked for a exception to policy. On wed we left as we hadn't got it, and my wife wouldn't leave the base as she wouldn't get back on. On thurday we got the approval, but we had moved on. We both are in the GS system, so have no Idea why it took so long. Every where else we had been, I show my DoD Id and her drivers Lisence we get in.
