Put in a reservation request for Desert Eagle RV Park at Nellis AFB and received an email regarding authorized users. I realized they were open even on Sunday so I called to get answer to a question. The girl that answered explained that the VHIC card which I've used at other bases since the new access guidelines came out doesn't work at Nellis. Does anyone know if this is the case? Or does it mean similar to other bases you still have to get background check etc before they grant access? I'll call monday when visitor center is open, however was just hoping that someone had an answer that would allow me to continue planning my trip.
