Seems I remember Tyndall's pretty nice - big rec room and lots of sites in the "woodsy' areas. Only stayed there once for a couple days. And it was winter, full, and in rotation for sites. It's well run though, as I recall.
But another 'don't miss' in that area is Eglin AFB too -- two MCGs, one has FHU but no CTV, the other has no sewer and has CTV - but is right smack on the beach. I stayed there a couple months this winter -- was excellent. So, check that one too, it's nice - no rec hall though, but lots of MWR activities on the water ...
