does anyone have a good recommendation for a campground in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area?

TVA at lake Douglas is very nice.. two CG at the dam.. one in each side of the dam and lake/river..

Depends on what you want in a campground. I've stayed at the Outdoor Resorts in Gatlinburg and River Plantation in Pigeon. Both are nicer commercial campgrounds.
