I am new to the Fam Camp stuff, but have visited a few and like most so far. I want to try Key West in Feb 16. I have read they never turn anyone away? No reservations or phone number to check availability before making the long drive. Thanks in advance for any advice or recent experiences at Key West NAS.
Last year in February they were telling people they may be turned away. Not sure if that really happened? It was jam packed with over 200 rigs in dry camping at Sigsbee. You will definitely be dry camping for 20+ days if you stay that long. It is a long way to drive with the threat of being turned away. There are no reservations except for active duty. The Office can be contacted at 305-293-4432 for the current status. Not much point in calling until you are cloase to arriving.
