Question on Sigsbee

It has been about 5 years since we went to Sigsbee and back then there was a fuel station we could drive our rig into and get diesel fuel that was not far from the campground. Plan on going there in August so can anyone tell us if the fuel station is still there so we know we can fill up when we get there?

Yes, the gas station was there and operational in January. It's near the campground, across the street from the campground check-in office and ITT.

You can't take this one to the bank because I'm a gasser but there is a NEX gas station very close to the Sigsbee campground. I'm 99% sure it has diesel. If it's not busy you can get in and out OK. Last month there was 1 or two "gas" pumps that were yellow bagged and unusable. Prices for gas were no better than some a few miles off base. I did fuel on base when we were leaving. Homestead, Fl. prices were cheaper. Enjoy your stay--we had a great time. There is a waterfront restaurant, I believe on Front Street called Alonzo's. Happy hour starts at 4 p.m. and all appetizers are half price, as well as ALL adult beverages. Parking is an issue downtown. When visiting Alonzo's there is a paid parking lot with in steps of the restaurant. If you tell them you're eating at Alonzo's they'll tell you to return within two hours with your receipt and the parking is comped. Try the mussels. Safe travels.
