military campground DVD

Hi Larry,

I recently ordered a DVD to load on my computer for the recent campgrounds and with the year dues for updates. When I got the DVD I noticed before I opened it that it was not compatable for Windows Vista. I called the store and they said to return it and they would refund my money. I did that but I still don't have the info I wanted. :'( When are you going to make a DVD compatable to Windows Vista?

Since you didn't open the CD packaging, you didn't know the web address for the free 24x7 online support (support.h-wenterprises.com) that's provided with the purchase of the CD-Rom. :'( You didn't need to return the software. There's a patch available to make the software Windows Vista compatible. The retail outlets are now aware of this Vista patch. The next CD release won't require the patch.

I'm not trying to be a pain but when I am logged in the system I perform a search for my identity and can't find it anywhere on the search engine. I am Bill's HR. Can you tell me how to find it?

While it may sound like a simple task to do - search for a user. It's not. This is partly because of the different components used to put the website together.

The "search" at the top of the window only searches content (articles) on the website. It has nothing to do with users. Since I utilize a special listing and review process for campground information, the campground details utilize it's own search screen, but user's are still not included.

The Users Map does allow searching for recent members, but only those that show up on the map. In your case, you're not on the map and can't be searched there either. The only place you can search for users and find yourself is in the forums area. The Forums section has it's own menu with a "Members" option. Click on this, then you'll have two new options. One of these is to "Search for Member". When searching for you as "Bill's HR", it won't work. This is because of the apostrophe in your username. This is a special character and confuses the search. If you search for members with either "Bill" or "HR", then you are found in the listing returned.
