I think you need to consider increasing the size limit for uploading photos. Most everyone uses their phone for photography now. All ne phones take photos well over your 1Mb limit. Thus it is a lot of effort to save a small er copy on your phone and them upload. I think this is a deterrent to getting new and current photos of campgrounds.

Please raise the upload limit to work with modern phone camera photo sizes,

Thanks for the feedback. I understand what you're saying.

I had to make a decision of convenience verses efficiency. Websites only need photos that are smaller in size. A 1MB photo is actually over 4 times larger than it needs to be for a website. You can set the default size of photos on your phone to create smaller sized photos. Large photos are only needed if you are going to print them out.

Having smaller photos on your phone not only saves website space and uses less bandwidth to transfer those photos, smaller photos will also save you a great amount of storage space on your phone.

Larry's correct, of course.

But most folks have both a phone and some kind of PC, Mac, or tablet. Transfer phone photos to a computer and downsize is very simple. Then share, and it also frees phone storage space and allows you to store your photos in the computer in the original larger sizes for sharing or print.
