Perhaps an un-intended change?

My old bookmark link to the forums was this: www.militarycampgrounds.us/forum . After your upgrade, that link didn't work. I finally found that the new link is this: www.militarycampgrounds.us/forums . There is now an "s" at the end of "forum."

This was intentional. Google looks for the forums at www.MilitaryCampgrounds.us/forums . I wanted Google to be able to continue finding the forums without the error.

But since you mentioned it, I'll create a "redirect". This way, http://www,MilitaryCampgrounds.us/forum will work (it'll just automatically go to the correct location).

Thanks for letting me know.

I have a question about the new update. It appears the update won't allow me to access all famcamps by state like it was before. Was this intentional or am I missing something? Thanks

X2 lyve80.

Seems that there's no way to find a FamCamp anymore Larry, unless it's in one of the categories shown on the drop down menu. You can Search for one if you know the name of it, and some of them show up if you do a Search on the name of the State, but there's no State by State directory anymore.

Great job otherwise! The new look to the site is very easy on the eyes and well organized. Thanks Larry!

Iyve80 and Sarge3398,

Perhaps I don't understand your question. The state listing is still there below the USA map of locations. Click on the menu option labeled RECREATION FACILITIES INFO. You'll get the USA map and the state listing below the map. Below that is a listing of ALL military campgrounds and RV Parks. Clicking on a specific state name will give you a map and listing of facilities only in that state. This is the same as it was before the upgrade.

Here's a screen shot showing the USA map and State listing:

Here's a screen shot showing the ARIZONA map and listing just for Arizona:

Let me know if I didn't understand your question.

We didn't explain it correctly Larry. When you go to the Recreation Facility Info heading, a sub-menu drops down. On the old website, there was a choice for Facility Info....not on the new one. I see now that you can click on the heading and the map and states show up. The change was just confusing without the sub-heading. I see the same thing happens with the old "Community Activity" tab. It shows up if you just click on "Community"....no sub-heading on the the drop down menu.

No problem, and I still like the new site. Great job again!!!

John
