Map pin colors was created by bluestaraz
This may be a silly question, but what do the different color "pins" on the map represent?

I think I can answer this one. If you are talking about the maps of the states, the color pins show where a military campground is. If you hold your cursor over one it will show the name of the facility that is located there. You can then click on the facility name and go right to the facility information page. I hope I got it right.

Frank is right in his answer.

Also, here's an excerpt from the FAQ on this question:

When looking at the map zoomed in, or at a state map, you'll see red and blue "pushpins". Red is the normal color and blue designates that military recreation facility is "featured". A featured facility will have an in-depth review and article about that facility. These in-depth reviews, or "Featured Facility" articles are available in the NEWS and ARTICLES section of the website.

The FAQ has a more detailed explanation. Here's the FAQ link.
