RV park is nice with concrete pads, grassy areas and free laundry/showers. Staff is always helpful, but they have increased their rates quite aggressively, charging $64 nightly since Jan 2024. Maximum stay is 30 days and they are very strict with the 30 day policy (even for active duty) even though the park is never fully booked. They have a RV wash station that has been broken for year at least 2 years and they do not have a commissary on base nor a gas station. The exchange is very small (similar to a mini market) and has a barber shop inside. Not worth the price increase when you can stay at a KOA or campground for around the same price and not have to deal with the strict policies they have regarding qualifying for a visitors pass.

COVID restrictions during this timeframe did not limit the support from staff. Retired service member was hospitalized for pneumonia and the staff was very supportive to spouse. They checked multiple times daily on isolated spouse. RV campground was easy to navigate, with concrete pads and convenient FHU. Entry to the facility was really restricted, but both of us had DoD ID cards. This was an amazing place to both stay and travel to Catalina Island for daughter's wedding. All other "tourist-y" sites in the Los Angeles area are conveniently within driving distance.

One of the nicest FamCamps and RV Parks we've ever stayed at. Clean, well laid out, great sites, and very nice Laundry and Shower rooms. Sites were spacious and groomed. All utilities were nicely located for connection and worked properly. Quiet area. Camp hosts were great and available, Easy access to the highways and throughout the LA Metro area. Laundry room had 8 washers and dryers, and they were free to use, limited to 2 at a time. We camped at Seabreeze RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel. We used the Forrestal Gate our entire stay, very handy, but narrow. Note: If any of your group does not have a DOD issued ID, you will need to apply in advance for clearance to have them accompany you onto the base. Clearance takes 10-14 days to process, start early.

Always a great stop for us while visiting family in the local area. Office staff great and very easy to work with. RV/Car wash is a nice touch with easy in/out access. The only drawback while we were there was there was no hot water in the laundry facility. However, I'm not going to complain much as there is no cost to use the washer/dryers. If you drive a big rig, you might want to use the commercial gate, however I did make it through the main gate with a 37' Class A, towing. We did also spend the day walking around Seal Beach and especially all of the shops/places to eat along Main Street, too much fun!

Great park. Laundry, ice machine, washrooms and showers, all at no cost. The park is well kept and the folks working at the office were great. Great location, especially if you want to head up the Pacific Coast Highway to Sunset, Laguna, Huntington Beach, or maybe Dana Point. Not far from the theme parks. If you have pets, any type, bring current vaccine records. We have indoor floofs and have never had to have records, but the park was very understanding and accommodating. One thing is they have a pretty lengthy booklet that you have to initial each page and sign at check in, not really sure what it all contains because I didn’t want to take 45-minutes to read it after driving all day and they don’t give you a copy, but…The small ding on value on value because I think military parks should be better pricing in general, but overall, a great stay.

Seabreeze RV Park at the Weapons Station Seal Beach is now taking reservations at 50% of capacity (Park has a total of 85 spaces so currently capacity is 43). Reservations should be made directly with the camp office @ (562) 626-7892 or @ (562) 626-7504. The weather is perfect with daytime temps in the mid to upper 60’s and nights in the mid to lower 50’s.

Currently, the RV/Car wash rack is closed. The plan is to replace it with a new RV/Car wash as it is more cost-effective than trying to fix the old one. They are waiting for the funding to be finalized.

The base CO has made several changes concerning visitors and I suggest if you planned on having someone visit, you should call the RV office. Right now anyone age 9 or younger do not need an ID and can visit. Anyone older than that, unless they have a dependent ID cannot. We initially planned on having our 12 year old grandson stay with us for a 3 day visit to Disneyland. We will now have to move the RV closer to Disneyland or stay in a hotel for several days. Also, there is no mail forwarding here and no UPS/FEDEX deliveries. We full time in the RV now, so we had to make some quick changes to our mail delivery as the information listed above indicated the RV office would accept mail; lesson learned, always call ahead to the RV park office! Not sure the reason for these changes. Other than that, the sites are well spaced, level concrete and a place to park a car/truck. There are lots of spaces available and I would guess the park is only 1/4 full.

Clean and well-kept park. Both restroom/shower and laundry facilities very clean. Short drive to the park from either gate. Very short walk to the Seal Bch Blvd gate. Westminster gate secures 1800 M-F. Not open weekends. Seal Bch Blvd gate 24/7. Both RV friendly, SBB gate little tight for larger rigs. Great base camp to the many area sights, Disneyland, beach, Universal etc. Destroyer Golf Course w/i just a few minutes' drive. Gym about 100yd, Mini Mart same. FYI - Covid is still an issue at this park, lots of restrictions. Open at 50% capacity but I would guess only about 25% occupancy during my visit. As I understand, only military ID card holders allowed on base, guests are not. Base CO is very cautious. Be sure to ask appropriate questions to satisfy your party's needs when reserving your space. Price bumps $5 January 2022, $49.

The value for this location cannot be beat, and the sites at the campground itself are quite spacious and modern. The park is kept very clean, but the customer service could use a lot of improvement. There are no base amenities, and the restricted areas on base mean you can travel directly from the campground to the gate, and that's it. There is a short walking path (no bikes or skooters allowed), but otherwise, you have to stay in the campground. The wifi is pitiful, but they do have cable and there are dozens of o/a tv stations. Verizon signal is strong. There are numerous grocery stores within a few miles of the gate. There is a lot of noise in the campground during the day (landscaping and air traffic), but it is delightfully quiet at night. The Westminster gate is closed on weekends and holidays. It looks like a little tighter squeeze to get in through the front gate, but the route to the campground from either gate is easy, as is navigating through the campground. The rate is now $44 a night, regardless of whether you use 30 or 50 amp. All sites have both 30 and 50 amp. I was told there is no more monthly rate, and there is a 30 day stay limit. Even with the increased rate, this is a great bargain for the location.

I confirmed today that the campground is now open and taking reservations. I secured a 30 day stay for January of next year. While the price is somewhat high, it is in a good location in SoCal and other RV park options near Seal Beach, CA are limited. Looking forward to visit there again!

Arrived about 1800 on a Friday, and Manchester gate closed, despite two green arrow lights, so be prepared to disconnect your towed. Gate was indeed VERY TIGHT, but security helped guide me through. Spaces marked on green light poles at each site. Very impressive sites! Came to the area for the NASCAR race at 'nearby' Fontana, CA. It took over an hour from here, but Disneyland and DCA was usually only 30 minutes away - so great location for our trip. Agreed with prior reviews, just an amazing park with only downside being no NEX/Commisary on base. We went to the LA AFB adjacent to LAX after going to the Santa Monica Pier. That took about 45 minutes to get back due to a wreck, so bring a cooler with you! Hookups were well laid out and easy to use. Cable in our space absolute garbage, but Dish was clear. Low Sprint signal (2 or 3 bars), until put phone (as modem) in window and got 13/4Mbps, while ATT had 27/3Mbps with 4 bars. Saw plenty of commercial jets headed into Long Beach, but didn't notice any at night. Will definitely stay here again!

We are a 45 foot motorhome towing a jeep. We arrived on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and there were lots of spaces available. Weekend arrivals are handled by the camp host in space 5. We picked a site and that was it. Monday we went by the office just to make sure our credit card information was up to date. Weekends, the Westminster Gate is closed, so you will have to go in the main gate. The main gate is narrow, so take it slow. We much prefer the Westminster Gate. Laundry is still free and clean, large machines. I down rated amenities/facilities to four as there is no commissary and the NEX is quite small. The RV park is still quite lovely, but is beginning to show its age. Some of the concrete is cracked, cracks in the blacktop and some of the grass is disappearing, however, still the best buy in the area given the prices in Socal. On Sunday try the farmer's market at the yacht harbor in Long Beach. Lots of fun stuff to eat and stalls to wander through looking for that one item that you "must have".

Stayed here August 9-13, 2019. This is a great place. Check-in was easy, on site staff very helpful. After hours there is a full-time resident host for urgent/emergency issues. Wide, level concrete spaces, full hookups. Cable TV is ok, free Wi-Fi is good. Park is very secure; you are on an active Navy Station with armed Navy Security staff at the gate and Federal Police patrolling the grounds 24/7. Seal Beach is close to everything in Orange County and next door to Long Beach in Los Angeles County. Our dogs went nuts trying to get off their leashes to chase squirrels (daytime) and rabbits (nighttime). Very quiet at night with only a few Navy helicopters coming in to land nearby during the day. All this for $40/night. All other private RV parks are charging close to $100/night in August. Can’t beat it. We will return.

Rates have gone u to $40.00 a day, but still beats anything around in terms of price. Free laundry, nice sites, easy access, well cared for grounds. There were some comments about homesteaders have moved out, but still saw some sites which have clearly been occupied for extended periods. I think that what is happening is that folks simply move to a new site. As long as folks who come for a few days or weeks can get reservation, then the long termers mean extra income fir the park/base.

This was a nice, clean paved campground as other have stated. It is a quiet little base with no exchange or commissary as others have noted (just a tiny mini NEX only open Mon-Fri during the day). The fitness center was very small as well. Although the sites are long, the internal roads are very narrow making it difficult for big fifth wheels and travel trailers to back in without going up on the sites across from them. We were lucky to a get a pull through, but as previously mentioned you can't reserve specific sites or types. You just make a reservation and get your spot when you arrived. Someone had just left the pull though when we arrived and there wasn't another open for almost a month. The beach is just over a mile away, but not a great view due to the port of Long Beach and oil rigs. We preferred to go about 14 miles south to Huntington Beach. Traffic going into LA was as bad as you would imagine and not unexpected. Wifi was absolutely awful, but that is almost always the case. Best part was the free laundry! We were able to get a washer almost every time we went. Overall nice little park.

One of the best if not the best military RV parks we have ever visited. It was easy access not far off the 405 on Seal Beach Blvd. We had reservations for 15 nights but had to cut it short due to a health issue. A refund for the unused nights was quick and painless. The staff was outstanding, from the camp host to the office staff. The park is manicured, regularly mowed and weed-whacked. The sites are all paved, very wide and plenty long for our 42 ft fifth wheel and our one ton dually pickup. We did not use the WiFi, showers or potties but the cable had plenty of channels! Power was strong and reliable. Water pressure was adequate. Nice amenity that the laundry was free with eight washers and eight dryers. Also nice amenity they have a wash bay ($) right there in the park that fits RV's of all sizes. We visited the beach right on the base but did not swim. Our neighbor got sliced by a stingray, so if you choose to get in the water, be careful or you will end up in the ER. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here twice, once for about 15 days and again for just two. This is by far the nicest MWR Park I have been to. All concrete pads, free laundry & showers, full hook-ups and an RV wash facility, small exchange on base as well. Proximity to local business is great and Seal Beach Pier for fishing, (no license required for pier fishing, but watch out for those sting rays, got nailed in a flash trying to release one). As to previous comments on site availability, it's first come first served and it's great that office staff let you pick what is available. If you don't like the system, don't bring your house and disconnect your towed vehicle in front of the office where there is ample room. Pull throughs are greatly appreciated when you're towing a trailer as they are a hell of a lot harder to back than a big rig, (and if you can't drive the damn thing, get rid of it, you're a highway hazard!) All in all this is a great RV Park, at a good price, in a great location. Hope this helps, safe travels.
