1. Park Quality - Overall a great park with expansive areas of green grass. Well maintained with exceptional staff and amenities. I did not use the bathrooms but did use the laundry. The laundry machines are a little dated but hey, they’re still free! There is a car/RV wash right at the park. The cost is $3 for 4 minutes. 2. Sites - Sites are massive concrete pads with W/S/E and are very level. (Water pressure was at 40 PSI) There is plenty of space for your tow vehicle or TOAD. Each site has a picnic table. I was in site #69. 3. Location - Seal Beach is a wonderful location with so much in the local area. A++ on location.. 4. Noise - I found it to be a pretty quiet park even though the flight path for the Long Beach airport is close by. 5. Cell Service - Verizon was two bars of 5G. 6. Wifi - Park WiFi was clocked at 5 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up. I have T-Mobile 5G Gateway and it was 76 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up. 7. Rates - $70 a day (I’ve talked to some people that remember when the rate was like $35 a night. Yes the MWR rates continue to climb but when compared to the off base park rates, this is still a bargain, painful but still a bargain.) 8. Access - Of course you need to be a qualified person to make a reservation and utilize the park. Getting to the park is easy and check in has great parking before entering. 9. Dog Friendliness - This park is top notch for dogs. So much green grass, walking trails and they just installed an off leash dog park. The park includes one for large dogs and one for small dogs (wasn’t quite open in Oct 2025 but very very close) One negative is the ground squirrels….. They are EVERYWHERE) If you fancy an off leash beach, check out Rosie’s Dog Beach in the City of Long Beach or the one in Huntington Beach. Wrapping it up. I would and will be returning as this is one of the nicest parks overall.
