I read the last two entries and agree a number of people appear to have been camping here a while but I disagree that the camp is rundown or poorly managed. Howard the camp manager was helpful and courteous. The summer camp host was very friendly and helped us park. The older sites have some strange hookups and can be close together but the site we stayed at was in perfect working order. The newer pull through sites are clean, well maintained, large, and state of the art. We plan on more trips to Salt Lake City and we will definitely stay at this campground again. The base has a very nice park with a water park for young children if your traveling with kids right next to the FamCamp. If you are driving a large RV I suggest that you turn right on H Street and go straight thru the next stop sign. H Street turns into Balmer St. It is a straight shot down to the FamCamp. If you follow the directions to E Ave the left turn onto Balmer St. is tight.
