Stopped in on our way to Alaska, our first experience in a military FAMCAMP. Both the manager (Howard) and the camp host were professional and friendly, and the toilets, showers, and laundry facility were clean and well maintained. Base facilities are well signed and all together in one area, all within walking distance of the FAMCAMP. We didn't use the BX or the mess facility, but we did use the commissary - is large and well-stocked. Two additional interesting attractions not mentioned in the intro: Morton Thiokol rocket motor display (near Promontory), as well as one of the better Air Force Museums around with a large selection of well restored AF aircraft; it is located right there at the north end of Hill AFB.
