I am sooo willing to look past no recycling anywhere (except on the other side of base) for the fact that an excellent playground is right next to the CG. There are quite a few "new" sites all with level concrete, but, they are very close to each other and would make "hanging out" at this park not very relaxing. It's great, though, for seeing nearby attractions; Antelope Island State Park; Salt Lake info/history with Jr.Ranger programs for kids, and Golden Spike Ntl. Historic Site AND for catching my breath (bills/laundry/etc) while the kids play nearby. It was a great value for full hookups (some of the shaded, older sites only have water/electric and cost less). Howard was very helpful and accomodating, even when I had to change reservations.
