Review Detail

Called while enroute to park and was told they had 3 sites available and got one when we arrived. I didn't take the "less stress" route and I sure wish we had. Easy check in but parking was a little tight with the tree on the left side of site 84. Great laundry facilities, clean and all machines work. There are a lot of "long-term" residents but for the most part they keep their sites neat and tidy. I would really like to see the ability to make a reservation but, I do understand why they don't take them. Also, there is no WIFI that reaches the individual sites. It is available in the community room. Diesel and gas is available at the AAFES station across from the park. Freedom Crossing is a huge shopping/recreation area on the main post. In addition to the PX and Commissary there are other shops there as well. Also, the are several eating establishments in addition to the food court. There's a Denny's, Texas Roadhouse and others. Had a good stay and we will return.
