The park is under the operational control of the MWR and the staff at the marina, which operates the park, is friendly and will go out of their way to make a campers stay a most enjoyable one. The park itself is well maintained and has very clean restrooms and showers available for its users. The view of Corpus Christi Bay and the 1000 foot long fishing pier are just two of the things that cause people to want to return time and time again. Close by are many attractions and the base ITT offers tickets to these at reduced rates. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance the prices for the various types of sites are more than reasonable.
