Great campground. Very clean and organized. The host (Wes) was very helpful. We were in the overflow (4 spaces w/ electric and water). Pretty much in a parking lot but still good. The regular spaces looked very nice indeed... shady, wooded and not too tight but FULL! I have a feeling they are always full or close to it. Two nice, clean bath houses with coin operated laundry. Gym is VERY nice. We ate at the DFAC for dinner and the "9th Hole" at the golf course for breakfast. Both within easy walking distance. I don't understand the "no reservations" policy at some campgrounds. Could travel a long way just to be turned away???? We got lucky... our space was one of two left! Charleston has at least 2-3 days of stuff to see and do.
